A fun event for all riders providing access to country rarely ridden, stunning views across the James River and a chance to test your horse on a race track too - a great way to check your horse’s fitness level before the Deep Run Hunt Pony Club Horse Trials, Saturday, April 21st! DRHC Hunter/Hacker Pace, March 24^th start times will not be honored. DRHC Registration has been transferred.

• Check in, registration and number pick up will start at 8:30am.
• First horse goes off at 9:00am.
• DRHC Hunter/Hacker Pace, March 24^th assigned times may be used as an approximate guideline to ensure that teams will be evenly distributed throughout the morning.
• Unregistered Teams will be allowed to walk up and register for numbers starting at 8:30am.
• Actual start times will be in order of arrival of complete team with numbers at the start box.
• Please note course is approximately 10 miles and well marked. Jumping is optional in the Hacker Pace.

• Dress is optional.
• The registration form is on the DRHC website. Checks should be made out to Mt. Bernard Farm or you may charge your DRHC account.

The entry fee includes lunch; you will be given a wristband to designate this.  Those not riding may purchase a lunch wristband at the Registration Desk for $15 a person.

If any rider wishes to take a lap around the racecourse, along the Hunter/Hacker Pace course, you must register to do so at Check-in. The time you are on the racecourse will be subtracted from your team’s overall time.  Registration for Racecourse entry is an additional $10 per person.  Not everyone from your team needs to go on the racecourse. Prize will be awarded for fastest racecourse time for age 60 and under and age 61 and over.

The highest placing DRHC member in both divisions will be awarded the DRHC Trophy for that division. Prizes will also be awarded for first, second, and third in both divisions as well as ribbons through sixth place. Awards will be made at lunch immediately following the finish of the last team.
